This week I am pleased to share a wonderful interview with singer-songwriter, Jude Adams!
In the way she embraced the questions, Jude strikes me as a thoughtful, considered person, who has a playfulness about her and a great sense of fun.
If all we can ever hope to do is truly find expression for who we are inside, through music, Jude seems to have found her way! But it didn't just emerge; it was felt, held within, and eventually, with the love and persistence of her partner Marg, set free!
Perhaps, through all the doing and doubting, we all at some point come to that space when are ready to share, to speak our truth ... to let our voice be heard!
And, I think, in the end, it has something to do with self-love. As Jude says:
"learning to love yourself isn't about arrogance ... it's something much deeper than that ... if you can't love yourself, you won't be able to do it for other people"
That is wisdom singing!
Thank you, Jude!
Stories of our Lives is my attempt to show that despite our different beliefs, and the incessant media noise that seems to want to separate us, inside we are all just people trying to tell our story, hoping for somebody to listen.
